  • 1 tbsp. pure vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
  • 2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. kosher salt
  • 3/4 c. whole milk

FOR THE FROSTING AND TOPPING

  • 1 1/4 c. smooth peanut butter
  • 1 (8-oz.) block cream cheese, softened
  • 4 c. powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
  • 2-4 tbsp. heavy cream
  • Pinch kosher salt

CAKE

  1. The oven temperature should be 350 degrees after centering the rack. After applying nonstick spray to three 8-inch round Nutter Butter Cake pans, set them aside.
  2. Mix the flour, baking powder, and salt in a big bowl using a whisk.

  • Spread buttercream evenly over the sides of the cake, adding extra to the sides as needed. To smooth up and remove extra buttercream, slowly rotate the cake turntable while gently placing a cake scraper on the top acrylic disc and bottom cake board. Restock the basin with the extra buttercream so it can be used again if necessary. Use the cake scraper to finish smoothing the cake’s sides and add extra buttercream to fill in any spaces. Before removing the acrylic disc, cool the cake for fifteen minutes in the freezer or thirty minutes in the refrigerator.
